President to sign VA Reform Bill on Thursday

AFSA understand the President will sign the recently-approved Veterans Healthcare Access Bill on Thursday, August 7. According to White House press secretary Josh Earnest, the president will also talk about the work that has been done and work still left to do to address systematic failures within the Department of Veterans Affairs. This latest reform effort which AFSA help pass, while just a first step, remains a significant victory for all Americans and Veterans. We will continue our work with Members of Congress, VA, and other Administration officials to improve access to care and benefits for Veterans.
